What Is the P3 Eco-Challenge? Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) P3 Eco-Challenge recognizes and rewards traditional BCPS schools, teachers, students, and custodial staff for their efforts to learn about and implement environmentally sustainable measures and green initiatives within their schools and communities.
Save the Date: There is an awards ceremony on May 7, 2025 for the nominees at Long Key Nature Center in Davie.
HOW TO APPLY:
There are 2 ways to send in your application (you can use both or just the Canvas version). Details can be found under each category or downloadable documents under Resources.
1) Via ArcGIS Survey123 online app you can access through your phone or your computer. You can take pictures (real-time) and send them towards your application. For the complete rubric, open up a Canvas application as well.
2) Via Canvas (here). We'll create an application page for you under Opened Applications or Collaborations. Send an email to browardstem@browardschools.com with the following information:
(1) Your name and email address
(2) Nominee's name(s) or school name
(3) School category (1-5 or all) or Stewardship category (educators, students, non-instructional or custodial staff).
You can now collaborate with others on the same application! Just send us the email addresses of the collaborators.

There are two types of P3 challenges: The P3 School Challenge or the Stewardship Recognition. There is a bonus Mini-Grant that you can apply to if you applied to a school category (hint, if you don't win a school category, you may win a mini-grant!) Click the challenge name bar below for more info.

Eligibility
Applicants must be Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) educators, custodial staff, students, and for the non-instructional staff, must work with a BCPS school. You are ineligible to apply for the stewardship category if you won first place from 2018-2023. Your school is ineligible to apply for the top prize (all categories) if the school won first place from 2018-2023. The school is ineligible to apply for the separate categories that it has won first place from 2018-2023. Unless you have BCPS Clever single sign on access, you will not be able to access the Collaborations and Assignments links on the left.
