It is important that we practice physical distancing and have good hygiene routines to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Now that you are working your way back into school, you can help to reduce the spread of COVID-19 by doing the following:

Cover coughs and sneezes. Always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow, throw used tissue in the trash, and immediately wash your hands or clean your hands with a hand sanitizer.

Wash your hands often. You should wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

Avoid close contact. Try your best to stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people. It is also recommended to wear a mask when you are in large crowds or in situations where it is difficult to practice physical distancing.

Stay home if you're sick, especially if you have signs of a fever or cough.

Remember, we are all figuring out what this new now looks like together. Things won’t be perfect but we can remember to be kind, supportive and understanding of everyone’s unique experiences, as well as rely on our parents, teachers, and other trusted adults for guidance. This experience is different for all of us, but we are not alone.
