ANNOUNCEMENTS – 9/20/21

Mon., Sept. 20-This week is International Peace Week. We want to encourage everyone to Spread love and kindness today and always and look for ways to make your world a more peaceful place. Reach out to someone who needs a friend. Share a smile and be kind and helpful to others. Peace begins with each one of us. Tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 21st is International and Broward day of peace. Please wear white in honor of this day.

Anyone who purchased a 2021 yearbook (from last year) can come to room 635 after school to get it.

Yearbooks are available on the MSD eStore for $80 through 9/30. The price will go up on 10/1.

Seniors: Make sure to schedule your portrait session with Cady Studios by 10/30. This will be the picture used in the yearbook.

Book Club will be meeting on Tuesday, September 21 in the media center after school. Anyone interested in joining Book Club is welcome to come.

Interested in the Black Student Union? The Black Student Union will hold its first meeting on this Tuesday September 21st at 2:50 in room 911! All are welcome and make sure to spread the word!

If interested in earning community service hours and fundraising for an amazing cause, come to the Dance Marathon second general information meeting Thursday after school in room 901.

Thirst Project Announcement

New to MSD this year is Thirst Club. It is a national nonprofit organization that focuses on efforts to provide clean drinking water for Africa. The first informational meeting is Thursday, September 23rd in room 429 at 2:50 PM. Come see what we are all about and earn service hours!!
